Celtic's new signing Jo Inge Berget goes straight into the Hoops squad for the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie against Legia Warsaw in Poland on Wednesday night.

The Norway international forward, who played under Celtic boss Ronny Deila at Stromsgodset, completed a six-month loan deal from Cardiff City on Monday and flew out from Glasgow Airport with his new team-mates on Tuesday morning.

Striker Anthony Stokes has recovered from a hamstring injury as the Scottish champions look to take a positive result from the first leg back to Murrayfield for the return game.

Deila believes his squad is improving daily and was particularly impressed by the way Celtic dispatched Iceland side KR Reykjavik 4-0 in the second leg of their second qualifying round clash at Murrayfield to win
 5-0 on aggregate.

"In the last game against KR Reykjavik we controlled the game and we were good when we lost the ball so I am pleased," he said.

"The passing has to be even better and the awareness and defensive marking, so we still have things to work on.

"But the players are working very hard and there is a lot of quality in the squad so I am very happy right now." Click here to watch
